Dstl has adopted the Council for Science and Technology's Code of Ethics for scientists. Many scientists have also signed up to the code of conduct of their professional body, and Dstl actively encourages Chartership and the responsibilities that entails.
If doubts are raised about the ethical soundness of Dstl work, we will respond swiftly to protect people, property, wildlife and professional reputation.
