The Air and Weapons Systems Department offers integrated research, analysis and advice on fixed and rotary wing platforms and weapons systems. This covers through-life operation and cost effectiveness, performance, threat and countermeasures modelling, weapons systems integration, operational analysis and effects. The Department specialises in concept design and development, option studies, platform survivability, as well as rotorcraft acquisition, technology and tactical manoeuvre.
