Dstl’s Detection Department conducts the research and development of sensors and systems for the detection of Chemical and Biological (CB) agents and explosives, along with CB hazard assessment and consequence management. The Department’s capabilities include chemical, biological and explosives detection technologies, CB decontamination systems and CB hazard assessments.
The Department can also offer expertise in analysis of CB agents and advice on CB arms control.
