The Joint Systems Department leads Dstl’s work in support of the Ministry of Defence’s (MOD’s) key crosscutting capability-level programmes, working closely with other Dstl departments and external organisations to provide integrated systems advice. Joint Systems also provides a focus for the development of system engineering capability and associated best practice within Dstl and wider MOD. The Department’s main capabilities include provision of systems advice, provision of systems skills and specialisation in Through Life Capability Management.
