Travel Information
Getting to Stratford-upon Avon
Over 40 international airlines operate from Birmingham
International Airport and include some direct flights from
North America i.e. New York, Orlando and Toronto. The
Airport is only 22 miles away. There is a train service from
the airport to Stratford and it is a ten minutes walk to the
hotel. However, London Heathrow may be the preferred
option and is approximately 92 miles away.
There are a
variety of routes to Stratford but the recommended route is
as follows:
Take an Underground train from Heathrow (via Heathrow
Express) to Paddington and then the Bakerloo line to
Marylebone. Then take the Chiltern line to Stratford. This is
a direct service and trains run every 2 hours. Total journey
time is about 3.5 hours.
Coaches from Heathrow may be arranged on the Sunday/
Monday afternoon depending on demand. Further travel
