Welcome to the Ministry of Defence Counter Terrorism Science and Technology Centre.

We exist to respond to the increasing terrorist threat facing the UK and our Armed Forces.  By funding research, facilitating innovation and actively seeking collaboration, we aim to ensure that the best science underpins the Ministry of Defence and more broadly, the Government's response to the threats posed by terrorism.

The Centre serves as the unifying hub to optimise counter terrorism resources. It brings coherence to existing programmes and widens the technical base from which it draws expertise.
