Student Autonomous Underwater Challenge - Europe (SAUC-E) 2006

As the first event of its kind to be held in the UK, the Student Autonomous Underwater Challenge Europe (SAUC-E) proved a huge success.

Seven university teams competed at the state-of-the-art underwater stage at Pinewood Studios (www.pinewoodshepperton.com) with vehicles they had designed and built themselves.

Several days of practice and qualifying culminated in the final competition where the teams were challenged to complete a number of tasks in the underwater environment.
