Student Autonomous Underwater Challenge - Europe (SAUC-E) 2006
As the first event of its kind to be held in the UK, the Student Autonomous Underwater Challenge Europe (SAUC-E) proved a huge success.
Seven university teams competed at the state-of-the-art underwater stage at Pinewood Studios ( www.pinewoodshepperton.com) with vehicles they had designed and built themselves.
Several days of practice and qualifying culminated in the final competition where the teams were challenged to complete a number of tasks in the underwater environment.
